Our Maldives Solo packages are built for the traveller who wants to fly out alone and still feel completely looked after, from the seaplane window seat to the last reef swim. The Maldives suits solo travel beautifully because of its one island, one resort philosophy. You land on a private island, and that single property becomes your whole world for a few days, which means fewer logistics, fewer strangers to navigate, and a setting where being on your own feels natural rather than awkward.
Spread across 26 atolls and more than 1,000 coral islands, this Indian Ocean nation is only 3 to 4 hours by air from major Indian metros. With visa on arrival free for all nationalities for 30 days, the practical barriers are almost nil. Many2Go Holidays prices Solo trips from ₹32,999 per person, and we structure every itinerary so a single traveller is never penalised with awkward twin-sharing rules or unsafe transfers.
What makes our Maldives Solo packages special
Solo travel raises questions a couple or family never thinks about. Is the transfer boat safe at night? Will I be the only person eating alone at dinner? Will I be charged double because I do not have a roommate? We design around exactly these concerns.
- Solo-friendly pricing. We negotiate single-occupancy rates and flag any single supplement upfront, so the ₹32,999 starting price reflects what you actually pay, not a per-couple figure.
- Safe, vetted transfers. Whether it is a shared speedboat to Maafushi or a seaplane to a Baa Atoll resort, your transfer is pre-booked and confirmed. The Maldives is widely regarded as one of the calmer destinations for women travelling alone.
- Social or private, your call. Prefer a local island like Maafushi or Hulhumale where you can join group snorkelling trips and meet other travellers? Or a private villa in South Ari Atoll where nobody disturbs you? We match the island to your temperament.
- On-trip support. A single point of contact on WhatsApp through Indian working hours, useful when you are figuring out the next sandbank excursion on your own.

Best time for a Solo Maldives trip
The Maldives works year-round, but two windows suit different kinds of solo travellers. December to April is the dry season, with calm seas, reliable sunshine and the easiest conditions for first-time solo travellers and anyone nervous about boat transfers. This is peak season, so book early and expect higher rates.
May to November is the wetter season, with short tropical showers rather than all-day rain, and notably lower prices. It is also the best stretch for marine life: this is when manta rays gather and whale sharks are most reliably spotted around South Ari Atoll. If you are travelling solo specifically to dive or snorkel, this season often gives you the most memorable trip for less money.
What's included
Every Many2Go Solo Maldives package covers the essentials so you are not solving problems on the ground:
- Island resort or local guesthouse accommodation for the stated nights, in single occupancy where you have requested it.
- Return airport transfers by shared speedboat or seaplane, depending on the atoll, pre-confirmed with timings aligned to flights.
- Daily breakfast as standard, with half-board or all-inclusive available as an upgrade.
- Visa on arrival guidance (the visa itself is free for 30 days).
- Currency tips: the local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa, though US dollars are widely accepted at resorts.
- A dedicated Many2Go coordinator and curated suggestions for snorkelling trips, sandbank picnics and sunset cruises you can join solo.
International flights are quoted separately or bundled on request, so you can choose a land-only or flights-included version of the same trip.
