Maldives Land-only packages are built for travellers who want to book their own flights and let us handle everything that happens after touchdown at Velana International Airport. From the speedboat or seaplane transfer to your island, the resort stay, meals and water activities, the land portion is fully arranged while you keep control of how and when you fly. For many Indian travellers this is the smartest way to do the Maldives, because flight prices from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi swing a lot with the season, and you may already be holding miles, a credit-card voucher or a cheaper fare you spotted yourself.
The Maldives is an ocean nation of 26 atolls and more than 1,000 coral islands, and it runs on one simple idea: one island, one resort. Once you arrive on your island, the holiday is yours. Our land-only plans start from ₹32,999 per person and cover the whole on-ground experience so you are never left figuring out transfers, check-in timings or how to reach a resort scattered somewhere across the atolls.
What makes our Maldives Land-only packages special
Booking land-only sounds easy until you realise the airport-to-resort leg in the Maldives is its own puzzle. Seaplanes only fly in daylight, speedboat timings depend on your island's distance from Malé, and a missed connection can mean an unplanned night near the airport. We coordinate your arrival details so the transfer lines up with when you actually land.
- Transfer matched to your flight: share your arrival and departure times and we book the right speedboat or seaplane window, so there is no scrambling at the jetty.
- Resort handpicked to budget: from value 3-star stays around Maafushi and Hulhumale to private water villas in North Malé and South Ari atolls.
- Clear, all-in land pricing: transfers, stay, meal plan and listed activities are quoted upfront, so the only variable left is your airfare.
- Visa guidance built in: the Maldives gives free visa on arrival for 30 days to all nationalities, and we tell you exactly what to carry so the counter is quick.
- India-based support: a team that understands Indian payment methods, GST invoicing and the documents you need before you travel.

Best time for a Land-only Maldives trip
The Maldives works year round, but two windows stand out. December to April is the dry, calm season with steady sunshine, glassy lagoons and the best snorkelling visibility, which is why it overlaps with the Indian winter and school break crowd. Because this is peak season, both resort rates and airfares climb, so booking land-only early and watching flight prices separately can save you a good amount.
From May to November the southwest monsoon brings short, passing showers and lower resort prices, and it is also the season for manta rays and whale sharks, especially around South Ari Atoll. Sea conditions are a little choppier, but for snorkellers and divers chasing big marine life, this is a rewarding and far cheaper time to go. Since you control your own flights, this season often gives the best total cost for a land-only trip.
What's included
Every land-only package is quoted to cover the full on-ground experience. A typical inclusion list looks like this:

- Accommodation for the chosen number of nights at your selected resort or local island stay.
- Meal plan as listed, ranging from breakfast-only on value stays to full board or all-inclusive on premium tiers.
- Welcome refreshment on arrival and standard resort taxes where applicable.
- Listed water activities or excursions for that package, such as snorkelling sessions or a sandbank trip.
- On-trip assistance and visa guidance for your visa on arrival.
International flights, personal expenses, travel insurance, optional excursions, diving courses and anything marked as direct payment at the resort are not included. We confirm the exact list in writing before you pay.
